Made by Hand

We worked there!! 09:40 until about 14:20. Very interesting seeing all the different stalls! Left with a significant number of business cards and a big ol’ grin on my face.

It was very useful experience, speaking with people who could be potential customers, about the work of fellow students. There was a lot of interest in Malwina’s forms, for example, but the high prices didn’t fit the craft fair vibe of Made by Hand – they would have been much more at home in a fine art faire. Learning about how the context in which your work ends up was an important lesson to me for future reference.
