This is the ceramics blog of Adrian Miles, student of Ceramics at Cardiff School of Art and Design, part of Cardiff Metropolitan University. Here I detail ideas and process for ease of referencing and for my tutors to be able to better discern the narrative in my work.

The course has been running for over 50 years now, and I’m proud to be making up a part of its history by studying here.

I’m a keen illustrator, and generally very handy. I enjoy making my own tools and love the manuality and tactile nature that clay affords the artist and maker.
